Austin Adventure Network is a club for adventure sports enthusiasts - people who are serious about hiking (particularly long-distance), mountain biking, mountain climbing, whitewater, backpacking, adrenaline sports, etc. or people who wish to learn skills in those various sports.  We are not a social club or a "meet market."  Our membership consists of both singles and couples, and our events tend to be athletic in nature.  Our club aims to provide a friendly, safe environment for adventure sports enthusiasts to improve their skills and to meet and form lasting friendships with other adventure sports enthusiasts.

Adventure sports enthusiasts of all skill levels are welcome to join AAN.  The Meetup is kept private in order to protect the member list from Meetup trolls.
